Leave a legacy or make an ‘In Memoriam’ donation
Leaving a gift in your will is an easy way to make a meaningful contribution to a cause you care about. If you wish to consider KEY, please talk to your solicitor about legacy gifts when you make a will or next time you update it. Legacy gifts to charities are tax-free and will also reduce your exposure to inheritance tax. All you need do is pass on to your solicitor our name which is: South Tyneside Churches KEY Project and charity registration number, which is: 1108931.
You may also want to consider an ‘In Memoriam’ gift on behalf of a friend or relative who has died
Donate food and goods
We are always on the lookout for donations of food, toiletries, good quality clothes, bedding and pieces of furniture. These items are then either given directly to young people in hardship, used in emergency support packs from our food bank or for fundraising initiatives like our Rocket for Cash Scheme.
Annual General Meeting
As a thank you for your donations you will be more than welcome to KEY’s annual general meeting.
This is usually held in September during the day time. There you will be able to meet KEY’s trustees, staff, and some of the young people we support. It is also an opportunity to learn about the latest good work that KEY is doing.
If do wish to attend, make sure you give us your name and address when you make a donation.
